This forum is for reporting bugs, problems, bad hyperlinks, missing images, incorrect navigation menus, spelling errors, typos, bad hair days, and any other thing that could possibly go wrong on the Chickscope website. It is not for questions about the science behind Chickscope (visit the ILCS Chicken Scratchings page), nor is it for learning how to post (use the Chicken Scratchings Test Forum).

As manager of the entire web development aspect of Chickscope, I appreciate your feedback and endeavour to make this increasingly complex site the best it can possibly be.

I was just noticinng the dull, usual "Not Found" page, and I was thinking it might be a good idea to make a customized error page that goes with Chickscope's template. I'm not sure what server this is, but if its apache or ncsa HTTPd you can just put a error document directive into the server to tell it to execute a CGI script or go to a page. I set one up at my school's site here: http://www.uni.uiuc.edu/bad_link Also, since it's a CGI script you can make it write to a log or e-mail someone.

At Day 4: Extra-embrypmoc membranes, the last paragraph entitled "The Chlorio-Allantoic Membrane", there is a sentence near the end with 2 mistakes I think. "But at around day 10, ..." The context-sensitive help in scratchings doesn't always work as expected. Pressing help when editing a message takes you to a general page instead of the edit page. Not a big deal, but still it can be a pain.

In the resources page, it might be usefull if the links to external sites & products pop up in a new window, so once the user downloads it, they don't have to mess around with the back button, they just have to close the window. On all the explore pages, the footer has some problems: 1) The images jump around when you mouse over them. 2) The links to MRI and NIH Image are bad 3) The link to embryology goes to a directory with no index.html (refer to a previous post #17) http://chickscope/explore/ and all the pages under it
