Chickscope Overview:
Questions About Getting Involved
in Chickscope
Q: I will be starting an embryology unit with
my third grade students. We write about the
development of the chick for the 21 days it is in the
egg. We would like to share our information to you
along with pictures and activities if you would like
to do the same at your school. [Question submitted by
jborsari@capecod.net]
A: Yes, please do share the URL of your class
project. We will definitely forward it to interested
teachers.
Q: We are first grade teachers. We would
like to view your MR chick embryo images. Please give
us instructions on how to download it. Any information
you could help us with will be greatly appreciated.
[Question submitted by ibi@mail.connect.more.net]
A: You can do several things to view the
images. The simplest is to go through the Today's
News and follow the growth of the chick through
annotated MR images. Additionally, you can go through
Carl's Roost to read answers to questions posed by
students on their acquired images. From the Roost,
you can also go to MRI Database to view images of any
particular day.
